Burglars who ransacked the home of Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles and stole cars from his driveway are being hunted by police.
Two cars were stolen from the DJ's home in Highgate, North London, on Thursday.
The Met said the vehicles had since been recovered in Colindale, north-west London. No arrests have been made.
Moyles, longest-serving breakfast host in Radio 1's 45-year history, will present his last show next month after eight years.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "We are investigating a burglary that took place on Thursday at an address in Highgate.
"Two vehicles that were stolen as a result of the burglary have been recovered and inquiries are continuing. There have been no arrests at this time."
Moyles is being replaced by Nick Grimshaw on the Radio 1 breakfast show.
Having endured several burglaries of my former business, I can empathise with Chris. It's a horrible thing to happen. It's less about the items stolen (especially when they are recovered) than it is about the intrusion, the mess made and the personal violation. Burglars are bastiges.
