I need your help!

Between us can we work out how many shows of The Chris Moyles Show there's been?

Not Chris at Big Weekend, or Chris vs Fearne, or Chris filling in for Greg but Chris Moyles Show - including Sara and Vernon deps with the team.

I've just posted a link to this in the archive discussion thread - I think we may have an answer over there somewhere. Might have to wait til jamiec21 is online though, as he tends to have the most comprehensive records.

jamiec21's post that SAV1OUR linked to (here) seems comprehensive - it lists to the side shows he's missed and shows without Chris separately, so that should be a good indication, no? I have worked out from that post that regular shows + shows still to come + shows without Chris + missed shows and not including CM specials should be exactly 1900? Will need to check that's correct from jamiec21 though and possibly someone with better maths than I.

Hello hello.

Yes, I think, that on Friday, that will be the 1898th breakfast show. That consists of 1863 shows with Chris and 35 shows with deputy DJs with the one or more of the core team. One slight thing my total is regarding the marathon show - I have counted it as 3 separate breakfast shows as there was one on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. But if you;re counting the whole marathon as one single show, then you should take 2 of my total making it 1896.

No, definitely count those.

What about the Friday afternoon or was it Saturday show from Newquay when Carrie was lifted onto the stage - was that counted?

No, they haven't been counted, nor have the Christmas shows. I've also not counted the couple of occasions that Chris and the team filled in for Jo Whiley, nor have I counted the extra Chris Moyles Show with the team during the marathon show. I've stuck to live breakfast shows.

What about the late night show during the marathon that all of the team came in for?

Also, are the two occasions when the team filled in on mid-morning (the infamous Glastonbury mud-bath that meant Jo couldn't broadcast and the show which continued after Aled's Birthday show because Sara wasn't able to come in at late notice) counted as two shows or just one long one?

I count the Jo Whiley covers shows as two seperate shows (just like each of the marathon shows), but they're not on the above total, as they're not breakfast shows. But, y'know, if the producer of the show says they should count, then they should count.

These are all the additional shows I've got - I've not included the lengthy new years day or bank holiday highlights shows as, as there certainly are new links in there, it's mostly repeated material and music. Pretty complicated, which is why my core total was just for live breakfast shows and everything else gets put onto an 'Additional' list.
