Random I know, but does anyone know the actual process that goes into how people are given titles, Sir, Dame, OBE/MBE/CBE?

I only ask as I've seen some people have these bestowed on them, yet Chris has for 30 years entertained, been at the absolute peak of his industry, saved his industry, raised literally millions of pounds for charity, been a tv host, presenter, book writer... possibly doubt more that I'm forgetting, but seems to never get a look in.

its a stretch to say he is a book writer really. did you happen to read the "books". im not knocking him, but they were fluff at best
