It's a dodgy area - if Moyles starts pisstaking like he usually does then he risks being branded homophobic. Apparently all the DJs knew about it before the article, and Jamie Theakston mentioned it briefly on his show because it was in the papers (and let's face it - all he does in his show is read out of the papers).<P>My bet is that Chris will mention it very very slightly - like he did with the Big Breakfast Paul Tonkinson affair. Chris will play it safe - and anyway, all the DJs have probably been told what they can/cannot say on the issue anyway.<P>Thanks,<br>the_dr

As I'm sure you heard, Chris did not mention Scott until the end of the show, when he got Lizzie to read out a joke which had been emailed in (Steveotrash?  :) ). Chris said he should be Scott Mills' script writer and then said that he had a very funny Scott Mills joke. Will wasn't too happy about the joke, but Chris promised to tell it before 5:45. Chris played a record and nothing more was said about it. Hmmm.. I wonder what happened when Chris was playing that record.<P>the_dr

I don't think it was my joke but if he did say my name, i would be most gracious if someone could tell me. If it were not one of my emails, i still am the official comedy writer for the queen of radio1. Case in point, i got lots of emails read out on play uk last week when he was presenting it. Although chrissy baby is still the greatest dj in britain, i cannot refuse the offer of material being read out on air.
