The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

Dear all,
I really dont think Chris Moyles is any good at all, in fact, he's a total prick. Its radio for thick people.
Maybe he should think about doing some preparation for his shows and not just telling us all about what he did 'down the pub' and how funny it was when HE was pissed, spinning out his time by trying to trip up the dimwitted newsgirl, dragging out anything he can etc.. you know the score.
Mark and Lard - now they are funny.

Here we go again. If you don't like him **** OFF and don't listen. Look in the dictionary somewhere in the O section is a word called 'off'. Use this word with your radio ON/OFF (see I told you) button.
Cretin.
[This message has been edited by winker (edited 09 July 2001).]

Wahey, someone remembers me.
But that was not me who started this column.
I post under several names, winding u kiddies up - but I stopped cause it was like me serving in an Ivanesevic stylee and all you lot receiving in a Poppy Holdsworth stylee(or whatever that guy who pretends to be a girl calls himself)
ps: please do not take comments on this board too seriously as:
1( When we post comments sometimes they are deliberately prevocative and/or rude
2( Posting messages is hardly serious on a wider scale
3( I(and I believe many others) are often pissd(sic) while writing comments
peace out

The Chris Moyles Show is one of the most prepared pieces of work on radio to date... The on air 'arguments' Chris & Will have are planned to every single word... It pees me off when someone says "he prepares his show at 14:59 and has no brains" <- what a load of balls... From 1ish they practice and edit the show and before that the show is written by a team of writters. OK bored now.

Ok, just a thought but, if Chris Moyles ALLEGEDLY preps. for his show at 14:59, and manages to "churn" out a show for 2hrs 45 mins each weekday, and 2 hrs each weekend carrying a 6m audience nationwide (exc. internet) - then surely that would mean that he is an excellent ad-liber? :)

Hmm... interesting. He would have you believe (if you read certain magazine interviews) that all he does on air is what he talks about down the pub with his mates. As for how much of that is true, though, remains to be seen. The show's style gives the impression of being under-prepared, but maybe thats just a VERY good act. I don't think he spends all his waking hours writing scripts for the show, I think he is a naturally talented and funny guy. As for the team of joke writers... I doubt it.
If you listen all the time, every day, ad many of you do - you notice that he uses a collection of about 30 jokes all the time. ('... and then the vicar said my trousers', 'start the car') He does this on purpose, for the same reasons that Mark and Lard do it - as a running joke that the audience is familiar with.
the_dr
