does anyone know how to convert pdf files to word or works or anything?

I don't think u can, thats why they tend to put copyrighted files into that format. Hopefuly i will be proved wrong tho as I need to quote a bit chunk of pdf in one of my assignments. So please someone prove me wrong and say that they can be

you can normall highlight the text and copy and paste it - you lose the formatting though

Another alternative is to ahem.."aquire" a copy of Acrobat (not reader) and save the pdf(s) as another format.<br><br>You'll only be able to save it as text though, so like Chris said, you'll lose your formatting.<br><br>M<br><br>PS - If you are trying to copy and paste text that's in columns from Acrobat Reader, hold down control and drag a box over the column you want.

it wouldnt copy an paste or save as another format its just generally crap.
