For those of you who have a SoundVault CD you may like to try this [edit - URL now removed].
It's one of these:
You will need to run it with a command line parameter passing the full path to the folder containing (at least) these directories:
adverts
antique
features
funnybits
jingles
members
occasions
othersongs
parody
phrases
So, for instance, if your CD looked like this:
then you would need to execute 'SoundVault.exe n:\sounds' - you can create a shortcut for this of course. I'm sure someone will be happy to help if you don't understand the above.
I'm willing to create an updated CD already containing the viewer above (as well as all the new clips), but will only send it to someone who is serious about redistributing it (as should they). Let me know if this is you (it can already be someone who has the original CD). You will need a blank 700MB CD to continue the chain.
You do need the VB6 runtime files installed (see the SoundMachine page if you don't know where to get these from). If you don't get your path right then the application will fail with an error.
If you don't have the original CD, or have renamed the MP3's then it won't work.
It was created for the new CD really - it was a bit of a hack to allow people to use it with the old one.
