Apparently Radio 1 always obtains instrumental versions of all songs from the record companies for use in making promos and beds, primarily for the chart show I believe. Then Chris gets hold of them for the parodies.

Some artists put instrumentals on their CD singles - which are also available on some download sites (I know Napster make instrumentals available if they're on the single).

does anyone now if it is possible to get the backing track of the cheesy song that gets played at the beggining of his show. the best of help would be good
