Hi guys & girls,

i'm looking for the name or link to the music that chris has used recently to do the over dramatic intros.

They use it on x factor as well.

any help appreciated

It's O Verona by Craig Armstrong.... that said the version Chris plays is slightly different, it has a different beat and a small gap. I've seen it on youtube but never been able to refind it. So i'd appreciate if anyone knows the remix name...etc.

I think the version Chris uses is an instrumental of the Adam F/Redman track Smash 'Sumthin'

The intro is definitely the same, but I still cant find the 2nd part. Here's a clip, you'll notice it has a different beat (sounds like 'we will rock you' "bum bum bu" then there's some tambourines

I've been trying to find the same thing because it definitely sounds different with the little gap and the more dramatic beats to it. Hope it can be found. Maybe if we all keep badgering Chris on twitter, he might tell us.

Unfortunately you are unlikely to find any commercial release of O Verona outside of the the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack and that does have the voices and sounds over it from the film no matter what version you listen to. Despite the fact that it has been used in countless other places outside of the film, there does not seem to be a way of downloading, purchasing, or even finding a clean version of the track. I've spent ages trying to see if there has ever been a release even going as far as trying to contact Craig Armstrong himself, but to no avail.

I strongly suspect that you will not be able to get you hands on a clean version of the remix... I could be wrong and I hope I am, but I doubt it.
