Yeah Brooker is a genius as far as I'm concerned. I haven't really been able to get into the 10 o'clock live show. But he did havae "How TV Ruined Your Life" recently, which was really good, and was basically the same as Screenwipe. And of course he tends to do Newswipe every now and then too. I've got most of the old Screenwipes on DVD. I'm sure they'll be very outdated by now, but still funny.

I agree Topher, it's brilliant, to be fair the song is shite, but it's not aimed at me (I mean come on I like the likes of Queen, U2, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd & The Police, for example) but he's hit the nail on the head about these nasty morons who decided to slag her off, they obviously have nothing better to do with their mundane lives & so due to their idiocy have made her famous whereas if they had just ignored her she probably would have got nowhere, quite funny if you think about it

Brooker is brilliant though, I wonder when we'll get another edition of his Screenwipe again?

Just watched that rant and it was hilarious and pretty much spot on because there are people out there that have nothing better to do than ridicule people over the net. I heard the song the other day and its not my kind of song (I like some pop songs) but heck i have heard worse songs out there than that.

Only Wipe show I seen of Charlie Brooker's was the Gameswipe one, which I loved since it was related to my love of video games and would like it if he did another one. I am sure I will probably enjoy the other ones he did as well since I haven't really watched a lot of Brooker-related stuff.

Hi guys, new to posting on this forum, been active as a guest for quite a while now. I just wanted to thank ianpwilliams for uploading and sharing all the Chris Moyles morning shows I really apprecieate your work.

I have noticed though that the Germany vs Spain World Cup audio commentary link is down and it would be ace if you could re-upload it maybe as I've just finished listening to the other two games. :)

Thanks to all who have helped make the archive what it is today :)

Hey guys,

first off, it's brilliant to listen to some old shows when the team is on a break - so thanks for that :)

Still, I'm looking out for some recordings of the shows which came from Germany whilst the world-cup. Does anyone have any shows from then?

You, like me, May be after the very first Moyles Radio 1 early bit show. I've kepted a small eye looking for this show on here but to no avail. Am I blind or is there nothing from Chris' very first Radio 1 show? Also is there the interveiw with Lee Hurst where "Comedy" Dave was born (If I'm right about that that is).

The amount people who would be recording and keeping an early-morning Radio 1 programme from 14 years ago is probably in single figures. Unless the BBC open up it's radio archives, I doubt if we'll even know if the BBC hold a copy of it. Unfortunately, there isn't much of the Early Bit out there, certainly not on this website.

You will need a copy of Real Player but that includes a really good audio conversion program, so you can convert them to all kind of other formats.

Wow, it's Chris' THIRD EVER show on Radio 1, from Wednesday 30th July 1997. He was on from 4-7am, I've got the final 70 minutes here. Of course, after Chris finished that day who should follow him but Mark and Lard on breakfast, and there's audio of that as well. :)

We all know the ironic meaning of Dave's name, but i've always thought that the fact that it was Lee Hurst ,a man who makes Scott Mills seem like Lenny Bruce, who gave it to him, to be the very summit of Mt Irony.

Here's the edited audio of the last third of the third ever Early Bit. Highlights include Chris' news parody, True or False, Dog Of The Week and Chris plays out a clip of Mark and Lard talking about him. Enjoy.

Just going to edit the Mark and Lard breakfast audio, don't think it's as long as the Moyles clip, but nice to hear anyway. :)

And here is, after editing out the music, 21 minutes of the Mark and Lard Breakfast Show (and some news).

Fair to credit the ultimate source, downloaded it from http://marcusbradshaw.wordpress.com/201 ... n-my-loft/ after finding a link on Digital Spy. Still find it funny how Chris is taking the piss out of MNL after only 3 days on the station :)
