New Update - Wednesday 5th August 2009

I edited this a few days back however I held back on this as it cuts off on Cheggers Pop Quiz, anyway I decided to upload it anyway. Full show (up to part way through CPQ) of when Carrie was at Wimbledon and was given the embarrassing task of embarrassing her boyfriend.

Don't worry I will be going back into the archives soon, it's just that I know how popular this particular show was so I decided to edit & upload it, editing wise, thanks to Chris & the team talking endlessley & hardly playing any tunes, editing on this is easy. Oddly enough with all the music cut out & part of CPQ cut out, the run time is 2hr45mins, from a 3hr30mins show "More talk, less music" indeed

Can't remember how far back the reference was, but have found the podcast where I think they first use the BBC internal phone system with 'Harry Bullocks' - it's 7th Sept 07, does anyone maybe have the show featuring that whole segment? Must be sometime that week. I'm sure there was more of that feature than was on the podcast.

I don't unfortunately, I do have quite a few but don't have any from 2007, I think someone on here may do but I can't be 100% certain TBH. I should point out, for those who would like to request a particular show, that I have large gaps in my collection. I shall post a 2008-9 list on here later tonight so as to stop any confusion.

First off apologies for the lack of a list of the shows I have from 2008-9, also apologies (again) for a lack of uploads. I did say I'd try & post the uploads in order, in future. However unfortunately I have, ahem, misplaced the tapes from early 2000 (because I had already taped them once I had separated them from the rest, I've just got to remember where I put them), so instead I decided to pull out a couple of tapes from 2001 & start copying them over.

I have so far recorded Friday 4th May 2001, which highlights include the team reviewing (i.e. taking the piss) out of Dave's appearance on Liquid News (remember that show with the late, great Christopher Price) and also John Culshaw phones up Tower Records (remember them!) as Tony Blair to ask for some chart hits.

I shall get this one edited by the weekend & added to this thread soon

So the question is, do you ladies & gents want me to edit & upload these shows above over the next week or so, or would you rather I held them back & upload them in chronological order, when their time comes?

If you want these eight now, rather than waiting I can do so, with all other future uploads after these ones being copied, edited & uploaded in chronological order.

No problem, I may do yet although I'm in the copying mood so I may bulk copy at the mo before I edit & upload anything, I will try & edit some more Saturday/Sunday. Recorded two more from right back at the beginning last night Friday 23rd March 1999 & Monday 21st February 2000, which features special Guest Jamiroquai for vitually all of the recording.

Ladies & Gents, unfortunately something terrible has happened to my computer, that's right the blue screen of death has reared it's ugly head

Luckily, at present, the computer is acting in a sort of "throw a six to start" way and as I type this right now all is fine (touch wood).

However this means that I won't be able to record or edit any shows for about a week (rather frustratingly), however I hope to have everything fixed by this time next week.

At present I am backing up all of the breakfast shows I've downloaded this year, so far, and will next move onto the afternoon, Saturday & Capital FM shows.

So apologies to all, I had hoped to have a few of those shows up & ready by Friday, sadly my stupid PC isn't playing ball

I shall update you when everything is back to normal.

Thanks, I have to say that it's weird hearing my name being mentioned on radio by Chris Moyles, just glad they & the audience liked it. There was a few bits they cut out from the overall clip, which I had a feeling they would due to the content.

I have got another clip that I have in mind to send in regarding Rachel from the Saturday show, however Chris & Dave balls things up so much in the link on that clip they probably won't play it

There's also the clip of Chris, Dave & Lizzie taking the piss out of Will for writing into Ariel as well, which they have mentioned quite a few times on air but never played a clip as far as I know.
