Well that does surprise me. Is this from the Real Audio iPlayer files? Don't know what to say really, give me a couple of examples so I and others who might have archived can check their copies.

They are from the ra files.
2008-11-13: It cuts out to mute in sections then kicks in again a fair way into it. The same goes for:

2008-12-02
2008-08-19: Carpark catchphrase is missing from the end of the show.

Those are the file sizes I have. You'll have to go into more details where the gaps are - give me times. But I'm guessing these are legacy problems at the time, I never changed anything of the files when I downloaded them.

That'll take a bit of time as I have to copy them from the discs. Once I edited the shows I delete the original file off my computer as a matter of space.

2011-05-11 Chris and Dave on The Greg James Show in Carlisle Red Button TV

This was the first file I uploaded via FTP, so if you download it, let me know if it's all there.

This is just the 30 minutes of Chris and Dave on Greg's show during the midweek chart update. It is very, very funny.

The other Carlisle shows are going up now and should take about 2-3 days to go up, at a minimum.

Another mistake. I left a song in Wednesday 5th September 2012. So I've edited the song out, uploaded the new version, and edited the post for Wednesday to match the new link (p137 of this thread).

I didn't realise that the public show was actually on the Thursday, and that the final show was on the Friday in the studio. Makes sense really when you think about it.

After a more indepth look at my previous list. Some are less than worth mentioning again.
Here is the list of the shows that have muted segments in them with the time period from the unedited version.

PAGING IAN: EMERGENCY (well, kinda)

On the 26 June 2007 show, you've edited out the Tedious! Do you still have the unedited show? If not, that really needs to go down as an incomplete show, as it was a fairly integral feature back then.

Yeah, those are in the original files I have. Nothing I can do about that I'm afraid, and looking at the file size down to the byte, all those shows are showing what was typical for a Real Audio download at that time (101,224KB as reported by Windows). Best guess is that's purely down to a fault in the automated process of creating the files for the iPlayer streams. Finding every instance of that happening is potentially a herculean task, considering the amount of shows available and considering if whoever is editing the show isn't taking full notice of every link.

Yep, it's there. I can upload the isolated Tedious clip if you want, although if it's not on the edited file, Ian might want to go back and reedit it completely.

If it's not too faffy a job that would be great, but don't worry if it is. The outro of the record is on the edit, so I've been able to post what the track was, and therefore I can carry on with the subsequent links while I wait to be able to add in the transcript.

It's ok, I still have the DVD's that Jamie sent me. I'll edit Tedious back in to that show and upload it :) Surprised I did that.

When you say the clipper, are you talking about Internet Archive? Because I'm trying to upload today's edited show to IA and it's just "pending".
