Yes they were, so I've been doing what I usually do, editing out the Golden Hour, except for the bits where there was banter. The bits where Chris is just saying the names of people, where they are from, and whether they got the year right or not if pretty boring. I've found Sound forge for editing the shows which is taking up far less memory when editing so I'll be able to do fades now (About bloody time). I've also received the 2009 shows from JamieC21 (I thankyou) so I'll be editing them and re-editing the 2008 shows which I originally put on here. I must admit though, It is slower but better to the ears.

Don't feel you need to go to the trouble of re-editing a whole year just so you can add fades. I haven't listened to any of them yet (I'm going to start from the beginning), but I'm sure they are fine to listen to.

And Sound Forge is a fantastic program.

I did have that problem of none of them loading up in wavepad though - maybe soundforge will solve that?

I don't think you should re-edit the 2008 shows. I've listened to a few and they all seem fine to me without fades.

Can any of you help? I'm trying to convert some of the files from ra. to mp3 but my conversion software won'y do it anymore. It's not the files. I know that much for a fact but they just don't want to be converted anymore. Have any of you got a theory or can help with suggestions?

If you are editing the resultant files, convert to WAV first, edit, then encode to MP3.

Was just listening to my music and an old chris interview with ronan keating popped up you can hear chris dave and Rhys. Looks like it was when you say nothing came out which was july 1999. It looks like he was either afternoon or covering for breakfast as mentions coming in at 8am

Bit random and doubt this will be in the right place etc...

I used to download the podcasts (from R1) at work and stick them on my phone to transfer to home to sit and listen to.

I can't fit the "new" early podcasts onto my phone and they're too big for a CD...

Anyway to get them smaller?

I can't download this at all - it tries to start the download but just idles over. Anyone else? Is it just my PC being stupid? (Highly likely)

I downloaded it fine, but I did it soon after he posted it. When I try now I get the same problem as you. I think it might be a temporary IA problem, because I can't visit the site either
