I am slightly saddend, because as soon as Chris reads out the site address, all the new people that want see what all the fun is about get totally the wrong impression

Hopefully a mod/admin will go through that thread and suspened/ban a few people.

Surely its better for any site to have newbies - arent forums all about traffick & posts - the more you get per day the better???

If 500 newbies register and after 2 weeks 10 are still here, isnt that a good thing???

I think Dickies point was, that having a bunch of newbes that just signed up and posted to try and get on the radio, and ruining a perfectly good thread in the process, is very annoying, esecially when most of them people won't even stay around afterwards.

I see your point. And on the bright side - if they think a single post on a forum will make them famous, with brain-power like that they wont remember the addy of the site to log in again!!! :lol:
