I've sent a copy of the clean bed to Quanny. It's not the best recording but he's having a go at smoothing it out.

People asked for it a while back, but it's only now that we've got a copy without him talking over it. We couldn't get hold of it as it's specialy composed.

Anyway...I've done my best with the editing. I'll pass it back to tomwhite to host (my webhost won't let me host mp3 files).

Sorry if it's cack, but it's the best I can do.

risky, quanny, risky. If it's purely for...err..."anoraky" purposes in having some of Chris material then I doubt you'd be in too much bother, but if you started using it on your show and the powers that be (either prs,mcps, cpa, whatever, or the composers and producers of the work) found out then you'd be in a whol lot of trouble.

you could rename the extension so its something like "chrismusic.js" or some other extension, then people could just rename it back to mp3 - just thinking of ways you could get round that, not critisizing

Maybe I can help. I recorded the entire show with my wavefinder (DAB). So the bit you're talking about is on my hard drive in clean 128kbps 48khz stereo.

You can tell as well ... I got the latest parody twice, once from you Paul and once from Quanny who also posts here sometimes ... I published your version as it sounded much crisper.

I had probs too. Just loaded the windows 2000 USB drivers and all works fine. Instructions here :- http://www.uk-dab.info/usbdrivers.html

The bed is now uploaded to http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.westrup/bed.mp3

For some reason it only recorded in 44khz. Then again, so did my bus conductor recording. Still sounds good though.

Of course i kept a copy. I would like a copy of him playing it. I only heard him play it once and that was on my birthday
