Hi, I'm Chris :) I've been visiting MW for ages, but I've only just had the good sense to register on the board...

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had a clean version of the bed that Chris uses for Viaduct: The Revenge... I've looked all over the Sounds forum, but no-one seems to have requested/posted it before. Is it part of another song, or was it specially written for the show?

Thanks! :)

The Bed used for Viaduct: The Revenge is taken off what is known as a Production Library. These are CDs designed specificaly for use on Radio and TV with music and sound effects on them. These are not commercialy available.

This track comes from a CD produced by Vibe Music & Audio Imaging entitled "V - The Production Library.

As I said, these tracks are not commercialy available and these companies come down VERY HEAVILY on those who ignore copyright regulations, frequently using the full extent of the law to protect their work.

I, like I'm sure some other people, have this music because of my work but would not upload it or email it to anyone because of the problems it would cause for not only myself, but also my employers and Chris Harris (being the owner of chrismoyles.net if the music was placed on the site).

Sorry.

P.S. If you do go to the Vibe's site and try to register to receive the CDs they will not be sent out to you. Vibe Management check out every request to make sure that it is a genuine radio/tv/recording company, etc before distributing any discs.

Thanks cm2/FD, guess it won't be available for quite a while, then. :(

Nope, in fact it won't be available at all. As I said, these pieces of music are designed for use in the broadcasting industry and are not ever intended to be made available commercialy.

I don't know much about the Vibe production libary or whatever but is it also wrong to loop a small section of a track off the radio and stik it on the net because people that don't have it dont know where it's from, its probarbaly a no but it's just a idea for that person that wants it. (hint hint record and loop, but dont tell anyone)

No, not "hint: go do this" but more "strong hint: don't go do this"
