I would first like to point out I didn't buy this but was given the album as a present. I don't know why this point is so important to me but I feel I have to make it.
I'll start by admitting my prejuduce against The Darkness. I think they are w*nkers who believe that everyone is laughing along while quite a few observe them, like me, as oddities that should be included in that book of weird deformities FHM has this month.
So anyway bearing all this in mind the album is still sh*te. The singles have been overplayed while the album tracks are either weak or trying to be cleverer than they really are. If The Darkness bring forward a new wave of sh*t like this then I am scarpering for Radio 2 (or wherever you go now Radio 2 is more "cutting edge") and accepting middle age early. Lets face it at my weight I'm probably middle-aged anyway.
