Then I can get on to MTV and VH1 by calling them and then sending them the petition

Yeah, even if she gets it, like MTV are gonna listen to a poultry 100 signatures. Takes a lot more than that to make a program successful, even on a channel like MTV where people generally only tune in if there's nothing else on.

A1 were a crap boy band, they did a crap cover of 'Take On Me' and a song called 'Same Old Brand New You'.

No, I'm not a fan. They played a Reading Student Union and my brother was DJing after them (or before them).

A funny story though, my brother got his copy of Same Old Brand New You signed by them. Once he played it to a girl who asked him if he was a fan, he said that he thought they were quite good. Shortly after that the girl decided it was time to go home...
