My local handed out loads of bottles of sparkling wine (well Champagne would have been a bit costly and the only difference is Champagne comes from Champagne) to groups around the pub for new year..

There was a club called Bed in Glasgow but since it infrringed someone elses copywrite they had to change its name to Blanket which doesn't quite have the same feel to it.
