I am supposed to be getting Sky tomorrow and want to record the Everton game on Satdee (as I will be there). Its on Prem Plus which I realise I have to subscribe to but I heard today that if you record it it will only stay on for 24 hours (because its a box office thing).

Anyone know anything cos I cant find owt on the sky website?

I used to sell sky when I worked in currys ages ago, and we were told that box office stuff is only saved on the system for 24 hours, same goes with movies off box office, generally anything you have to pay for.

They are only deleted when you have watched them, though. You can tape every single box office movie there is - you would only get charged if you view them.

That's wierd. I can understand why films are chucked off your sky box due to piracy, but who'd want a pirate dvd of a football game?

well some people would, they sell them on markets etc. you can buy copies of portsmouth vs southampton for example. the whole match. they sell them in the club shop. but whats the point though because if they are on sky sports 1 then you can keep it forever. stupid.

Yeah, people would want them -I guess I mean that there aren't usually official dvds on the scale of official dvds of films.

If you got a pirate dvd of a football game it would hardly dent into the clubs official video profits - especially if it was on tv anyway

haha did you watch the game? Park was running in rings maybe but only in the way a headless chicken does.
