This is what I and possibly the majority of the messagers want unless they say they disagree.

Guests should not be allowed to post but can read the boards. If they want to post they should sign up and get a password like everyone else does. This would slow down the strange postings by Zaqaz and the offensive views of M&L Fan..

I definately agree, Guests are annoying but I know what Chris will say though, he'll say that he doesn't want to cange things because if he banned guests from posting he'd get all these people singing up just to make one post and then he'd have too many members on the system that aren't even regular! I think thsi is a small price to pay to do away with guests though!

My take on this .. I'm pretty happy to leave the board free of moderation - there's enough people with strong opinions on here to carry out properly thought out discussions and show these people that they are misguided (and/or fools).

Preventing guests form posting would reduce board traffic, if it's what the majority want then I am happy to do it - but I don't intend to start banning people unless they become a nuisance. Being ignorant isn't necessarily being annoying.

For now I leave things as they are - the fools are in your hands regulars, deal with them as you see fit.

I agree with Chris, I think things are alright the way they are. Fair enough, the Guests can occasionaly be annoying, but we have moderators - if there's anything compeltely unappropriate then the post can be deleted, and if it's something that's just really stupid and pathetic then nobody will bother replying to it anyway.

I agree, it would also stop the annoyance of posting when the system has automatically logged you out and it appearing on the board as guest.
