Gaspode is the name of a small terrior (that's a dog!) from the Discworld novels. He became Gaspode the Wonder Dog because of some movie role IIRC. However, Gaspode_the_wonder_dog was a reference to one of this site's oldest members and top posters (actually the top poster I think).
