Edith was out at the shops the other week, and noticed row upon row of celeb. magazines! And basically, scarcely anything sensible. So, on her show, she was asking what is it that makes today's people so obsessed with all these so-called "celebs". I and another listener texted in that it was due to the lack of serious idols in Society to look up to - i.e. great writers, singers, etc.
What do you think? Is it just fueled on a weekly basis by the media? Why do people buy into this crap at all? I know I certainly don't!!
