I know this is foot-loose's pet subject (slagging the media), but they are seriously awful in cases like that. I can think of at least two cases just off the top of my head where I was similarly disgusted; the first was a few years ago when Mika Hakkinen had a massive crash (in Friday practise I think) before a Grand Prix. No one knew whether he would be alright or anything, as I remember, yet the papers ran with the colour photo of him being lifted out of the car, with blood all over him; the second was when a footballer (I forget his name) dropped dead during a Premiership (I think) match on the pitch. The Mirror ran a front page photo with him laying dead on the ground the next day. My mum was absolutely outraged and wrote to complain. She is very rarely moved to complain about something, but there was no merit in printing the photo. It didn't highlight the plight of war or anything, there was nothing to justify it.

You are a disgrace and I'm looking forward to when someone you respect dies so I can rub your liberal face in it.
