Enjoyed Hard-Fi in Jo Whiley's "Live Lounge" yesterday!

Enjoyed their performance of, "I Shall Overcome" (out on Monday, 17th March '08). Interesting to hear that this particular song was written for singer Richard's father, who was always telling him not to give up!!

As a cover, the Band did "Love Is Gone", by David Guetta.. An unexpected, but good choice. Excellent stuff. :-)

Great to hear the Band's attitude that music and the creation of it was for enjoying, rather than complaining about all they have to do. :-)

Well done.. worth a listen again!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1

They were alright when they supported Green Day at Milton Keynes.

C-Kay wrote:Terrible, no wonder they use so many effects in the studio, they sound awful live

They didn't sound awful at Milton Keynes.

They did in the live lounge, and they did at the R1 Christmas party, they are the only times i've heard them live, andi'm not overly impressed.

I'm not a fan of them anyway, so my opinion probably doesn't count

I heard the Live Lounge cover on Annie Crap's show at the weekedn - god it was absolutely terrible. Struck me as an incredibly lazy piece of work.

I heard there cover of Love Is Gone, and, to be honest, i couldve been alot better!

They strike me as a band that wouldnt be overly impressive live. There hits from the last album were good though, well, the album version of them, didnt hear them live.

Just my opinion is all

I see wot you did there. You took "Annie Mac" and replaced the "Mac" with "crap" because it rhymes.

Except it doesn't. Does it? It really doesn't.

I know. It was more because she is crap than because it rhymed really.

Because she is. Isn't she? She really is.

True. But I'm not clever enough to have thought of it.

Because I'm not. Am I? I'm really not.

Yeah that wouldve been good. Sometimes gets used round 'ere

I saw Hard-Fi, they're one of my favourite bands, I thought they were good. I'm not just saying this because they are one of my favourites though.
