I wish I had a drawer. With a desk attached and an office around it........although there is a cardboard box in the corner of the kitchen which contains what WAS in my drawer when I cleared it out last July - hang on..........ok, here it is.

Personal document file holding - well, personal documents.
Small cuddly koala all the way from Australia (pressie from a colleague)
Cod liver oil capsules
Multivitamin tablets
Handcream
8 CDs with recordings of various talks from a variety of churches
A copy of an 18th century beautifully drawn map of the Essex coast
An NIV Bible
A rats skull
A key for something I have NO idea what
About 30 assorted pens and pencils
Name badges relating to the time before Defra took us over and I was happy (everything post-takeover was binned)
A beautiful sepentine stone pebble from a week training course I went on in The Lizard
Various seashells
5 fossilised shark's teeth
1 fossilised sea-urchin
1 piece of fossilised wood
I unidentified fossil - deep imprint of either heavily marked plant material, or possible unidentified sea creature (not unlike a rough-shelled belamnite, but you don't get them with rough shells - its still a mystery)
Beautiful example of early worked flint scraper - possibly mesolithic - with beautiful wear and patination showing that it was used and presumably valued for a very long time
A toffee.

Ok. I was kind of hoping it was 'New indecisive Version'

"God told Noah Build a really big boat, or train, or lorry or something, then he had to go get lots of animals, like elephants and tigers and things, then it rained for a while..."

The ten commandments would be great in that.

"Thou shalt maybe covet thy neighbour's ass."

Of the vast amounts of crap in my drawers at work I have:

* A Dictaphone with a spare cassette which doesn't fit it (not sure where they both came from as I don't use one)
* Business Cards in a business card holder of which 90% of them are useless (some over 10 years old)
* A leaving card for an engineer who was going to transfer to another branch, and then after months of "I'm transferring" never left
* A Electronics Catalogue (can't remember the name of it) from December 1987 8O
* Keys of which I have no idea what they are for but were given to me to "take care of"
* A Storm trooper model (Christ knows where that came from)
* 11 note pads of which only the first page has any writing/doodles on them
* 77p in change (all in 1p's & 2p's)
* E45 Cream (my hands crack & bleed terribly in the winter months.
* Out of date Marmite (thrown in the bin today, before our office banned our toaster because the Fire Bridage got called out three times within two weeks)
* A toaster (the culprit that called out the fire brigade, I bought it myself & I intended to take this home but can't be asked also technically that's on top of the drawers)
* CD Rom's for various third party companies (of which two have gone into liquidation, the oldest disc is from 2003)
* London Underground Map from 2005 (The East London Line is still open on this, as is the North London Line to Silvertown & North Woolwich)
* Diary from 2004 (has important numbers & passwords in it)
* Date stamp that ran out in 2003 (earliest date on it is 1st January 1992)
* Four stamp pads (don't know why)
* Scalpel Blades (acquired from someone in the office, my stanley knifes kept getting nicked so when I acquired that scalpel I got the spare blades as well, since then the scalpel first got nicked & then the blades)
* Four calculators (acquired from various people leaving)
* Five Rulers (as above)
* Seven Pencils (as above)
* Screwdriver Kit
* About a dozen carrier bags (one is a Woolworths one)
* Drawing pins (we have no drawing boards in our office so where they've come from, God only knows)

We're moving office soon-ish so most of this will end up in the skip :lol:

You should keep the Woolworths bag, give it a few years and sell it on Ebay.

:lol: Could do but unfortunately it's on of those bio-degradable bags so it probably won't "survive" long enough (we have found Tesco backs in our house that have literally turned into dust which are only 3-4 years old.

My draw was very dull

I found

3 red pens
4 blue pens
2 and a half black pens
4 pencils - all unsharpened
a box of tampax
a spiral bound notebook given to me by a member of staff that says "Queen of * Everything" on the outside
2 sachets of Heinz ketchup
a straw
a Dorothy Perkins gift card - nothing left on it though :(
a stub of a black eyeliner
a dried out blue mascara
Lipsyl
a Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows paper bag
4p in coppers
5 paperclips - pink
and annoyingly my expenses from June last year totalling £50.63 that I forgot to send in and are now to late to get paid!

Do a bit of clever "editing" on them, wait until June & see if they fall for it ;)

:lol: Oh well

One of the girls in my office (who is leaving in late May) never fiddled her's but instead of claiming her mileage every month she used to claim it every 3-4 months. When she was my boss I used to remind her every month when it was due for her to put the form in, only for her to forget. I doubt she'd forget this month mind seeing as she's going elsewhere :( :lol:

How sad is it that as soon as I read L7160 I thought "Avery laser, 21/page" before I even got to the description. I need a job.
