No - don't believe that tabloid rubbish. I believe there was one organisation who named it that to poke fun at the so called "PC brigade", but it has never been enforced.

As long as its made with Golden Syrup you can call it Arthur for all I care. Just don't ruin it with custard, cream or anything. The only thing Arthur should have poured over it is syrup sauce, maybe with a bit of lemon.
