I think the show would be theirs though, thats why they signed? It's not like they'd be short of dough..obviously they won't be able to say women can't listen, they should be cleaning, but they can still be thinking it, like the rest of us..

I think they're quality..I always watched Last Word, or Monday night football for the analysis and thoughts. Gray's not like other pundits, he actually watches as many games as possible (unlike Shearer, Hansen etc who get people to make notes for them), and analsyses the matches the way they see it..

Since they stopped the Birthday Spread, One Size Fitzhall, The Answer Is Ipswich & other of those type of features, i've noticed. Though Jacob's grumpy rants after Chelsea get duffed are usually radio gold.

Commercial Radio is a sad state of affairs now, I found some old tapes/mini discs of Capital, Heart, Kiss 100 & Virgin the other day, had a listen back & notice how few adverts there where compared to today's commercial Radio, I also notice how much better the DJ's are as well, where did it all go wrong?

My mum and Steve have started listening to Absolute Radio on their new telly now and they love it... they reckon there are very few adverts and they never repeat a song twice in a day.

Absolute is very good for a commercial station actually and I don't notice many adverts. They do full plays of albums and gigs too (Word Gets Around by Stereophonics was on the other week)

It was ok listening on listen again, but I just put it on to listen to todays show, and they got rid of the scrolling bar so I can't fast forward the adverts grrrr..how annoying are the stupid ads!

Ah OK, I'll give it a listen this evening then, I remember the final days of Virgin that that had become a very poor repetitive station (something Jon Holmes used to take the piss out of), but I'm glad to hear that the station is much improved, I'll give it a whirl.
