Binary 10 = 2, because the left hand side is the 2 column and it is on as it is represented by a one, the right hand side is the one column, it's off so it makes 2. I feel sad.

I forgot I'd posted the second one before. For anyone that still doesn't get it, basically in octal 31 is the equivalent of 25 in decimal.
