If you work full time, presumably they will be sleeping at night and then fully awake when you leave for work though.

I used to take mine for a 30min walk every morning and that tired them out enough and between 30-60mins each night. I think dogs sleep about 16-20 hours a day anyway

Those spotty pigs do indeed look very very tasty.

I would say they're cute more than tasty, though I can't argue that pork is one of the tastier meats. Lamb is also quite cute and tasty.

I've always found Pork to be a bit dry and chewy. I much prefer lamb; that's my favourite!

Lamb is absolutely my favourite meat (and, conequently, my favourite food.) Pork is still delicious though.

Good pork, properly cooked is the absolute exact opposite of that. But then supermarket pork chops and loin steaks from half starved water-pumped pigs would definitely be dry and chewy.

If you are stuck with getting your meat from a supermarket, try a different cut - get a shoulder joint instead of leg, or shoulder steaks instead of loin. Make sure you don't overcook it, and see the difference.

We used to raise sheep for lamb when I was little. Nobody told me we were eating them, and I thought we were sending them back to the farm to be adopted. The wool fell from my eyes when I saw them being strung up in the front yard and we had "Tina" for dinner a few days later.

No, it's become 'post your pet pics and discuss how delicious they look'. So, foot-loose, about Abbie..!

I don't think Abbey looks tasty. Just the spotty pigs.

They eat guinea pigs in some parts of South America don't they? Aren't they farmed for food? I'd eat a properly farmed one or a wild caught one - but I'd draw the line at barbecuing someones pet.

They do eat guinea pigs in South America. Just let them breed in a basement, and you got cheap food.

I am glad you all are enjoying discussing the culinary attributes of my Pets.

Now stop it ! Pinky, Perky & Porky have feelings you know !

Well, not really, only pain and hunger and happiness when they are eating, and mating.

I love my Pigs, but I can't help looking at there asses, Foots stop it, and thinking that they need to be bigger to make decent air dried Hams and other delicious home made charcuterie *sp(sorry)
