So is crevice.

That's a line from something but I can't remember what. It is though.

Blackadder goes fourth. But it was a dirty word not a funny word.

So what is going to happen to this show

From reports John Sullivan said he was working on 6 hour long episodes 2 of which actually got filmed, no one knows yet whether he finished the other 4 scripts and if he did whether they would actually film them.

Personally I feel that if he had finished the scripts then they should finish filming the final episodes and finish off this legacy of the Trotters that he had in mind.

Taken from Wikipedia...

During an interview with Metro, Nicholas Lyndhurst stated that due to the death of writer John Sullivan, no new episodes will be produced. He cited this as the biggest disappointment of his career.

Such a shame :(

They made and broadcast three episodes; the third one was broadcast in the days after John Sullivan died.

Yeah, Shaun Dingwall (Reg Trotter) said to me on Twitter just after he died that it was a shame there would be no more. It wouldn't be right without John overseeing it anyway, even if he had written them.

I'd love to even see the scripts and find out how Sullivan wrapped the story up. Rock and Chips was a perfect telling of the legacy that set up Only Fools and Horses, it's a shame that the whole thing will never be complete.

Surely Sullivan worked with a team of people who knew where the story was going and could finish the scripts in his memory?

No, he was the sole writer. Other people did other jobs, but only he wrote Only Fools and Rock and Chips (and a host of others) and in my opinion only he could finish them off.
