the idea is that people will drink slower isn't it? I know if i go to the cinema I have to drive and if i get back around 11pm it would be nice to be able to have a pint.

I used to do it in the accent aswell (in fact still do sometimes lol) but now its just become a phrase i use a lot

I say supposed to because there are many that won't get the point of it.

it will just mean you can booze for longer. if your havin a quite drink then yeah you wont have to rush at 11pm, but if your on some of hardcore stupidity night out then you will just end up getting hammered

You can do that at the moment though, just means stocking up at the offy before you go out. It's cheaper at the moment too.

To be fair, I had a pint of Strongbow a few months back, and actually found it quite refreshing. I just went off cider after too many nights getting pissed on Diamond White in my early student days. All the same, it was a very cheap night; could get pissed for £3.

In my uni days I liked half cider, half lager, blackcurrent and 3 vodkas. Keep topping it up with vodkas and you'll have a good night.

See people here mention white cider.... this I agree wholeheartedly is f**king foul after you've drunk gallons of it as a teenager.

However what I have waiting to be drunk hopefully over the weekend (it says on bottle drink within 3 days of opening or it goes off) is the genuine stuff available straight from the west country (the quantocks to be precise).

You can't beat the lager - but that tends to bloat me after a while at the moment, so I move on to vodka redbulls after that.

Having said that, this weekend is the first couple of days I've had off since the weekend before last - so I intend to spend most of it in bed..

I know loads of people that do for that very reason... usually because the crappy clubs they go to later have very expensive drinks. They wanna go to the overrated sh*tholes but dont wanna pay more for the drinks so get p*ssed as they can before they go.

Not everyone does it, I don't because I prefer to get drunk over time, also leaves less hangover etc for me next day I find.
