Better clarify that Yuds was right and Chrysotom was not.

Oh gosh. Was with Direct Line a couple years ago. They are a nasty lot when fighting the renewal 8O .

I'm currently with Direct Line and I wouldn't use them again. Actually, given that my car is an undriveable wreck I must call them and cancel the policy - its not like the damn car is ever going anywhere but the scrap yard.

^^ Really, with jus' a fizzed Turbo...? Not get Mr Yuds to break it down, stick few bits on 'Bay...? Every little helps, and that.

I've used Direct Line before, and won't ever again. I'm currently with AXA, they've been ok last few years... Car insurance stinks, but what can you do. My policy is roughly £500 p/a, even with over 400,000 miles no claims! :)

Good luck gettign the price down a bit Lottie.

Fixing it would cost more than the car is worth, and we need a new one anyway. And Mr Yudster is the exception that proves the rule that having a penis automatically confers understanding of the oily underneath bits of a car. He would happily build you a computer from a few bits of fuse wire, three gummy bears and a cardboard box, and it would work perfectly for years, but the internal combustion engine is an eternal mystery to him.

Oh know, I wasn't suggesting a repair as you've already vito'd that idea, but the balance of the car is worth something. But, not having the expertise/space to do it and store things will be a major issue!

Let me know what a scrap yard offers you for it, please.

Wow that's incredible. No offence but I thought they hired anyone. Judging by the quality of staff at my local McDonalds it would appear to be the case.

McDonalds have a reputation as being a very good employer.

They said they had too many applicants. I think it was down to the fact that I said I was only available at the weekends.

The retail industry is VERY competitive at the moment, especially now when the market will be flooded with graduates who haven't been able to find office jobs looking to get money asap (with full flexible availability, which as you said will be a BIG factor in their appeal).

Don't feel too bad about getting turned down, McDonalds are an employer of choice for many as they're quite forward thinking when it comes to employer progression and ethical treatment. Maybe try non-franchise establishments in town? From what I remember, Loughborough has loads of them.

Kay Burley telling locals that April Jones won't be found alive just to get them to break down on tv! What a woman, will do anything for the ratings.

Really?! That's low even for her. Sky News are arseholes for keeping her and Adam Boulton on the air for so long.

"How are you feeling?"

HOW DO YOU RECKON KAY????? Stupid person.

If it turns out this guy has murdered that litle girl we should all feel good about the fact he will either be killed in prison or beaten up for all the remaining days he has on Earth. Convicts hate child killers and prison justice will take effect.

Child killers shouldn't get any human rights. They should only have rights to a slow and painful death.

That being said I respect the opposite view.

If it turns out that this man has murdered that little girl, then yes, I want him to die a slow, horrible painful death and I would quite like to be the person causing it. However I also recognise that this is wrong. Just because you have an emotional reaction doesn't mean you are assuming that it would be ok to act on it.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything Yuds has said. I just feel a degree of awkwardness when it comes to rejoicing (as a society) in someone's torture.

Thats perfectly proper & honourable reasoning & i wish i was levelheaded enough to think like that, bit on the other hand i have absolutely no qualms about endorsing the slow torture of this creature & any others like him.
