Badge cull. We could do with less badgers around here. Maybe I should of mentioned the option to "put him down" in that vote. I don't know why I assume everyone is an internet telepathic reader.

I've already bought cards and presents, it doesn't seem that early to me.

Stepped on my earphones on my way out of the door this morning and smashed one. I grabbed a spare pair out of my drawer (the ones that came with my Sony mp3 player) and oh my God, they are the WORST earphones ever. I have trouble with normal ones as I have strangely shaped ears, but these ones just will not stay in my ears for a minute, and they sound awful. Ordered a new pair from amazon but they won't arrive for a couple days at least. Bad times.

daveG wrote:Mmm he appeard to have abused 1 victim and got caught. nasty bit of work, jimmy S seems more deceitful, which the press are going to great lengths to spell out, it appears they have gone nuts... so much is being made of all of this from all areas of the media that there must be something more. Don't you get the feeling that the tabloids are poised to strike as soon as the police investigation starts to publish some kind of statment about what they have found

1) gangland/clubland and wrestling links (i.e the muscle to shut people up)
2) entertainment/celebrity, the press are hopeing or already know it spreads to more household names
3) the channel Islands link and the big money/power associated with residents over there
4) frankly bizzare relationships with management teams of the instiutions that the alledged incidents took place.

Its very odd, trial by tabloid and HIGNFY

i dont do anything wrong, they told me off for play music too loud today, and i was like...
"its my room, i pay rent, i can do what i want, i only play it loud so i dont have to listen to those stupid noises you make during sex,"

whats more annoying, is when my flatmates go home for the weekend and they continue to live here! urgh,

Thank God my bf and flatmate have been mates for years. I dread to think what kind of tension would ensue in my flat otherwise.

Tell the landlord - or the agency you rent from, if you go through an agency.

Well you can't have it both ways - and surely if your friend's girlfriend is causing a problem, there must already BE friction between the two of you?

If you don't want to actually do anything about sorting the problem out, you have to find a a way of being able to be happy with the situation, and if you aren't willing to take action to make anyone else change their actions, then it is YOU who has to change.

If you find that idea unfair (I know I would), and if it occurs to you that it would be much more fair if she and your mate were the ones to make at least 50% of the necessary compromises, then ask them to. If they won't, and you still think that it is unfair to ask you to make 100% of any compromise needed, you have to force the issue.

Putting up with it and moaning is pointless. Either put up with it happily, or do something about it.
