Sorry to hear that.

My best friend has a dog called poppy (also the same name as the missus' dog weirdly) and we took her for a walk the other day, when we got back to mine she was bleedy from something he called her "jew claw". It was a really deep cut and we used nearly a full kitchen roll trying to stem the bleeding. Until we worked out what was wrong and where the blood was coming from, I've never seen him look so worried. Pets really do become part of the family and its horrible when something happens to them.

Oh it implies JayE is a bit of a moron, cos linkin park are shit. but thats probably not allowed so I've changed it.

I saw Linkin Park in 2001 when I was 20 at the Docklands...their warmup bands were Adema and Puddle of Mudd (before they hit the big time) and they were pretty shitty :P

How old were you then Jaye?

I saw Linkin Park support Papa Roach in 2000, I think. I was 25 *sigh*

I quite like Linkin Park. Hybrid Theory was a great album.

I still listen to the stuff they did with Jay-Z a lot. Mr Red still plays songs off Hybrid Theory in his DJ set, but I think of it as a bit teenage nu-metal now.

Linkin Park's first album is great, one of the best I've listened to. The stuff they did after Hybrid Theory is pony in my opinion. Don't know what went wrong.

I used to hate Linkin Park when I was much younger, but my family had it on loads and it just grew on me and now I absolutely love them!

Sounds suspiciously like Mr Red's tale of woe from a few pages back. Except in his case the dangerous drunkard was a fellow DJ! And, just to add extra hilarity to the tale: they've hired Drunk DJ and Coked Up DJ again for next month. Christ knows why.

Its a bloody nightmare sometimes, I hate gigs where you get twats, I dont think iv ever had any drug related problems before, only pissed up idiots. I tend to stick to office parties where people maintain some level of self respect and weddings and stuff. 21sts are a nightmare cos people are at the age where they think they can drink a ridiculous amount and then can't handle it. I have another one this weekend but im using their own gear and stuff so i dont have to stress as much. I dont often see other DJ's pissed apart from new year when we did a joint new year/wedding recpetion and me and the other dj (nick my fellow radio present) did a shot for every toll of the bell then could barely work for the next three hours ha!

I think last time Drunk DJ was pissed before he even started his set. I know people are drunk in clubs, but this guy works on a reasonably prestigious national digital rock radio station. Mr Red usually drives to and from the club, so he's very rarely even had one drink. He told me that this month he isn't gonna take his laptop, cos he's too worried about Drunk DJ falling all over the place again and damaging something. It's ridiculous.

International women's day. Is there any point in this? Does it actually mean anything to the women of the forum to have your own day?
