Pretty much. He went back last week for a check-up and they did a bunch more tests and found that he's lost some of his reflexes, but that seems to be the only long-term effect. So he's been very lucky. He looked disturbingly thin for a while, but he's been concentrating on eating plenty (not difficult for him as he seems to have a stomach of iron) and looks a lot healthier now.

I'm moving all my music to Amazon's cloud player premium service. £22 a year to have my 30000 songs available on 8 devices. Amazon match all songs that they can to what is in their library and upload anything else. It's going to take a couple of days to upload all my music but so far I'm impressed with it. Now I just need unlimited data on my iPhone.

I hate to tell you this...but Google do all of the above for free except the limit is 20000 songs...

I hope you have over 20000 songs or you just wasted £22

It's mind blowing that someone has that many songs in their collection. I think I have about 350 songs on my iPhone and that's it, half of which I'd never listen to. I'm so closed minded when it comes to music.

I imagine if you're uploading all your music and it's all stored in the same place, exempting certain files would be a faffy and time-consuming task and not really worth the bother. I keep my Moyles shows/clips stored in a separate folder to music, so I wouldn't have that issue.

Yeah so do I but amazon just uploads your entire iTunes library.

£1.83 a month. It's worth it for a better user experience. Netflix is £72 a year, but I would rather have that than rely on just downloading things to watch.

I would agree but I'm not impressed with the quality or the standard of films on Netflix

Most of the films are HD on Netflix. I'd agree with the standard, but if you want to switch off in front of a film, documentary or something similar it's quite good.

I still download current films on Torrent though.

See, I would happily pay that price if the films were new DVD releases and I did look into it but I realised it just wasn't worth the money especially when I have my laptop hooked straight up to my tv anyway.

no one is ever going to finish firefly properly, not till joss whedon uses his avengers money and makes it again. People count serenity as the closer to firefly but I think not.

A colleague of Mr Red's recently posted a ranty facebook status about girls that wear GEEK or DORK T shirts cos apparently "none of you are". Mr Red promptly informed him that I have a DORK T shirt and most definitely am one. He was slightly embarrassed.

also on the subject of clothes, I was running the coffee trolley in the train station and it started snowing, one poor girl got off a train in hot pants (no tights), a vest top and vans. she must have been so cold, and my "wow you look hot. despite the weather" line didnt go down too well. ahh well
