UPDATE: I've just got back from speaking to them, and they've said that apparantly i should have paid, and that last time i was lucky. When the question was put to them "where are the signs about pricing and limits etc?" they couldnt really answer, but said there was no way it would be re-sinded (sp?).

I'm surprised they can't answer that.. they should have a record of where all the signs there. In fact, try and take note next time you are there, where the signs are.

Thing is, its my mums car, im just insured on it for now because its much cheaper as i cant afford to get a new one just yet, luckily she's been quite understanding about it.

Shouldn't be an issue, as long as you pay the fine there won't be any points to re-distribute and it won't reflect on your mum at all. My husband was caught by a speed camera in my car, so the paperwork all came to me, but all they needed to know is that it was him driving and it became nothing to do with me. Same with a parking offence (although less complex as I said).

Wurz I had the same thing the other week, I used the " well I have always parked here and not got a ticket" and they said tuff. (Having said that I have subsequently found out that they only send the traffic wardens to t he car park on a Friday Lunch time ( small town in a very rural area of Cornwall) The ticket was 10p and the fine was £40 !

They don't call them Traffic Wardens in Peterborough they call them Traffic Assistants or Parking Attendants or something daft. The council repainted the double yellow lines on the road behind my store over the weekend however there are large blank spaces where there were cars already parked illegally. So do you think I can now park there as long as I only park where the gaps are?

Presumably, if they were repainted, there were already lines there in the first place, just a bit worse for wear; so the lines are still there, but not as prominent as the newly painted lines, which would mean you still can't park there.

Hmm, thanx for letting me know this.. I never had any problems until this last week! I will check and see if I have any extra money! My stuff came via a seller, it was in a plain white envelope, but when I opened it up, all these different types of fish were all grinning at me, and it was the wrong DVD. It did have Demi Moore in it, they got that right!
