 Big Sam is an arse, sadly Bolton fans still seem to have issues with Arsenal because of that twat.

Late August 2009.

That was a terrific game for the neutral spectator last night, 6-4! Great game, with some crackin goals - Olsson's for Blackburn had to be pick of the bunch.

I used to not rate Sam Allardyce at all, but he's not as bad as I first thought. Lost respect for Owen Coyle though, moving to Bolton. As a St. Johnstone fan, it was good to see our former manager causing upsets in the Premiership with Burnley but Bolton seem to have less personality than Burnley. I was rooting for Burnley because of Owen Coyle, but despite the fact he's left I'd still rather Burnley survived relegation over Bolton.

Ah, I thought it was last season.

I like Arsenal, I like the way they always play attacking football and keep the ball on the deck(that might be due to the lack of height though).

I just don't want Chelsea or Man City to win anything . They would still be average teams if it wasn't for the sugar daddys!

Man Utd may well have spent loads of money in the past, but until the Glazers took over it was money the club had made and Arsenal have always spent wisely.

I agree with you about Arsenal's low passing game. I'm sick of all Scottish teams lofting the ball upfield to no avail, and the most depressing thing is Liverpool have started to do that because they know Torres is fantastic. He can't do it all though!

I'm in the same boat, I don't want Chelsea or Manchester City to win anything either, although I was rooting for CIty against United the other night. I just hate Alex Ferguson, anything that'll topple him I'll be chuffed with! If only that anything could be Liverpool...

I was at that game, a great one it was too, Paul Robinson got a lot of stick

EDIT: I was at a Blackburn Vs Arsenal game in October, what was the 6-4 game the other night?

A lot of people say we play "magnificent" football for that reason because we very rarely hoof it up the pitch. Problem is sometimes we play that magnificent football, get all the way up the other end of the pitch & then bugger it up with the shot on goal.

As an Arsenal fan I'd love us to win the league, if not then my personal preference would be Fulham. However as it stand, well, Man Utd I'd rather not because Ferguson is a twunt, Chelsea & Man City no due to their unfair advantage (read that as over rich tossers in charge), Tottenham well what do you think , so that leaves the only other ones being Liverpool (unlikely) or Aston Villa, who I don't have a problem with. :)

You would not believe the overreaction to Celtic not winning last night after signing Robbie Keane. If it's not the Rangers fans who obviously didn't watch the game saying he was a waste of money, it's the Celtic fans who think because he didn't immediately score a hat trick the manager should be sacked.

Sometimes I really hate Old Firm fans.

Back to winning ways last night - I think its too late for automatic promotion though. We need to make sure we stay firmly in the play-off places.

Was disappointed we lost to Chelsea yesterday but encouraged by the fact we played well (better team in the first half in my opinion) but got beaten on the counter attack. Against utd we were just shit.

I do think though that we need to get rid of Almunia for sure. In the past 9 games, he's only had 2 clean sheets!

Anyway, off to the pub tonight to watch the Southend match - predicting Colchester 0-1 Southend.

I watched most of the ARSEnal - Chelsea match.....and I'm sorry to say it, but.......only ARSEnal fans think their team played better in any part of that match.

You had a lot of the ball, but kept trying to walk it into the net!

I think everyone is in agreement now....ARSEnal need a target man as the passing football is fine against the lower half of the table...and even much of the top half, but it drags your team up the field too far and the top teams will always take advantage of that.

I saw that was Sky's live game last night. Now I know how you English feel when you see there's an SPL game on. That overwhelming feeling of "who the * wants to watch that shite?"

Answer: just the folk that give a toss about those two teams probably. Like I said, like any SPL game with the possible exception of an Old Firm game. And even then folk will only tune in to see if they'll actually kill each other this time. It's not like folk tune in for the quality of football on display. You want a big game like that with quality football? Barca v Real Madrid, every time.
