Slightly premature, but still worthy of a mention, Wilko Johnson has announced that he has terminal pancreatic cancer.
It's a genuine ,"Aw f**k !" moment for me.

Sad to hear, I heard Radcliffe & Maconie mention his name today & they wished him better but didn't hear what was wrong with him, terrible news.

I think, based on superficial media observation combined with the opinions of some who knew him, he was indeed an absolutely gigantic arse. However he was a character.

This morning my mp3 player on shuffle threw up the Jimmy Savile tribute clip. So fascinating to listen to now - particularly Chris' comments that "nobody really knew him" and "there were sides to him that people didn't know about".

He was an arse, but he did have his moments, like standing up to the odious right wing cretin that is Richard Littlejohn.

I saw that again the other day, it was doing the rounds on Twitter - seen it before as well, love things like that, Littlejohn is vile. The video of Johann Hari kicking Littlejohn's arse is brilliant too.

Johann Hari has done that too after being outed as a lying hypocrite a couple of years back. He was supposedly trying to rehabilitate himself - what is he doing now?

Writing a book about drugs according to wikipedia. But he's probably edited that in his favour.

In other news, he's only gone and done a Moyles!

I have just heard about the death of Frank Keating, one of the best sports journalists ever. I know its not going to be significant to many people, but for me this is a massive Oh No.

This will mean nothing to any of you but I am really upset today to hear that a young lad we know, Harry Faulkner, who was just 18 and had turned pro as a squash player, died yesterday playing the sport he loved. Another victim of hidden cardiac disease.
Oh no.

Harry was one of a group of juniors that Baby Yudster and his colleagues looked up to as mentors, Harry was a lovely lad. It feels very close to home when something like this happens. Baby Yudster was diagnosed with a benign heart problem when he was about 1, so in some ways we are lucky because his heart has already been extensively looked at - but we will keep having him checked. And please, anyone out there between the age of 14 - 35 who participates in sport at any level, please get yourself screened. http://www.c-r-y.org.uk.

Not an overly famous 'oh no' but thoughts are with David Coulthard & his family after his sister died from a suspected heart attack. She was only 35
