sven is a bit of a goon. hes to afraid to drp beckham now he has made him captain. beckham is a big player for us, but id rather have wright-phillips on the right for the world cup if that means putting beckham into the middle where he seems to end up anyway then ok. maybe have 5 in midfield but i dont think we could cope with 3 at the back.

When James plays in goal for City, he IS England's number one, mistakes are rare, infact it's hard to remember him having a particularly bad game since we bought him 18 months ago.

Yet for England he messes it up, no I can't work it out either! But I want the world to know...he's a top class goalkeeper...when he wants to be, which is usually just for City, so I can't help but love him!

i would say robinson for spurs is easily as good as james for city though. he just seem so much more in control.

Beckham should give the captain's armband to either Gerrard or Terry. I'd rather see Wright-Phillips instead of Beckham too. My England team would be something like this:

I agree. I cant be so hard on Becks though. But thats just me, Terry to be the captain when Becks goes. A good commanding player, does a good job with the Chealskies, and has a good view of everyone from that position.
So it's worth a shot, although I like Owen. He is too quiet to command a team , I dont agree with him being vice captain. Rooney would just "try" to bully everyone and I dont think he has the intellegence yet.
