Why? For responding to the question you asked?

Foots man, I'm afraid Topher the Bopher is right........... Twix wins....... easily.......... however both are top trumped by the mighty Lion Bar........... ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR.

Ah that is true, but I prefer Toffee Crisp to the Lion Bar.

hahahaha.......... you drive a 206 and you prefer toffee crisp to a lion bar? Topher, I think you need to start watching more war movies, go hunting a bit, perhaps take up boxing, drink a few beers........ anything to try and get more Y chromosomes into your body.

I'll completly agree with you on the toffee crisp number Topher, but both you and our resident baw bag are wrong on the Twix front.

Don't get me wrong, I am also partial to a twix, in fact, I had one about an hour ago, but only cos we don't have any kit kats!

Ahem.. for your information I am not a huge fan of war movies (though I love Full Metal Jacket and I have been informed that I would also love Saving Private Ryan), I am opposed to hunting, boxing doens't interest me (well watching does, participating doesn't) and I drink plenty of beer thank you very much.

Is this automatic requirements of being male: i.e. you must like war movies, boxing and beer. I like war movies. What does this mean?

I dont like beer.
I don't understand boxing.
I can see the point in hunting as long as it is necessary for either food or population control. I don't like it soley as a sport.

...and it is done humanely. I detest fox hunters and hunting with dogs in general (and I have lived in the country all my life, so that throws out the "it's only the city dwellers opposed to fox hunting" argument.)

I should have said that - humanely is important. Hunting with dogs is sick to both the prey and the dogs.

And I know you wern't viv, this is why I didn't start shouting and complaining.

However, I may use this post as an example in the future. ;)

EDIT

just saw that photo bfb - class!

I hope your work doesn't check their internet searches. Gay horse may stand out from the crowd... so to speak.

i like the gay horse.

this thread made my headhurt, which was a somewhat welcome distraction from the pain in the rest of my body.

i don't get this new trend of people claiming ownership of threads. you may start a thread, but it doesn't mean you own it or can control it. people have issues.

baggie, your summary of viv's posting habits was dead on.

killing anything for pleasure is sadistic. i don't like killing animals at all, but i understand it's going to happen. i hate when it's super nasty-barbaric-gross.

now i should go start MY thread about people owning threads.

you didn't say "this is my thread, i own it!" but you did say:

Viv 113 wrote:this is hopeless... I need people with some sense to answer this thread... my "general section" topic has been vandalised this morning, now this one is heading the same way.

which implies some ownership. seriously. this whole "my thread" thing seems to be a recent development, innit? i really don't get it on a message board like this.

I disagree.... totally.... it's just maybe nice sometimes to have some sensible answers, but in life, we just can't always have what we want.
