I think Greggs are still far more prominent up north, but they do seem to be moving down here slowly but surely. London has a few I think and places like Brighton (I think).

S4B, Baker's Oven is owned by Greggs anyway.

We have a pasty shop in Milton Keynes called Morris, which are quite nice.

I don't know Greggs, I do make pasties and I like them, but they probably aren't authentic and as I say, don't know if they'd be better than Greggs. We have a pastie place in Colchester called The Oggy Oggy Pastie Company. They are disappointingly bad.

A new cake shop has just opened up in Colchester, its selling french-type patisserie and is called The French Tart. I think I may need to visit.

Yeah Derby has one of those I think, Nottingham did have one, but a Greggs opened next door.

How can a doughnut not be deep fried? Doughnuts are a deep fried entity! And Footie, please feel free to soak mine in Whisky. Springbank single malt is my favourite.
