I didn't really understand that but OK.

Surely to not know where the ball is, you'd have to be shit at rugby. I'd have thought you should know where the ball is at all times.

It's called "truck and trail", not truck and trailer.

Anyway, I'm going to enjoy the 6 Nations. I currently have my usual default position of "I think England are going to be good, we have good players and....." etc etc etc - but even when I can't sustain that any longer (usually after the first half of the first game) I will enjoy it. It's always a sporting highlight of the year for me.

It's alright. The winds are terrible today. I see you've got them too. They're totally picking up speed here, along with sleety/snow.

Oh no please, I don't want it to snow.........the weather map on the BBC last night showed it just reaching north Norfolk, but no further south than that. I hope they were right.

I also don't want it to snow. I'm driving to Doncaster tomorrow and back again on Sunday.

You should see the weather up here now. Absolutely out-of-control already. I hate to comtemplate what it will be like by later.

I don't mind if it's snowed, settled and stopped snowing by the time I've got there, the only danger there is the idiocy of drivers who can't drive in the snow.. it's when it is almost blizzard-like (like when we went to Doncaster about the same time last year) and your visibility is seriously impaired that it's a total nightmare.

Henson is back and back on form, we have an EXCELLENT pack led by Martyn Williams, who is arguably the best flanker in the world and our front row is second to none. Lee Byrne is an awesome fullback and with Sonny Parker & Shane Williams on the wing and James Hook at number 10 the only thing we're missing is Dwayne Peel in my opinion. They all play together too as 13 of them are from the Ospreys! So they know each other's play inside out. How many other teams can boast to have such experience on the bench as well with Stephen Jones, Tom Shanklin & Gethin Jenkins in reserve?

You make one fair point though Bruv - we may lose at Twickenham, however we'll win ALL the rest.

Can I remove the bit where I said we may lose at Twickers? The drought is over!!!

Bruvva wrote:S4, I think you missed the turning for cloud cuckoo land - it's back that way.

And picking all the players from one team doesn't often work - look at the English football team from back in the 70s when something like 9 of the team were Liverpool players (when they were good before any of you arses make a comment), didn't work then and I remain to be convinced it'll work now in rugby.

And Henson's a varnished popinjay.

Ahem??? Would you like to withdraw that post? I am waiting for an apology!

I wasn't just referring to the Henson comment. Sour grapes Lottie? England were rubbish, especially in the second half. I don't care if you lost it or we won it. Wales won and that is all that matters.

But Henson IS a popinjay, just look at him. He looks as if he's been bathing in creosote!

I was not referring to the Henson bit! The rest of your post warrants me getting a public apology!

Absolutely. That's exactly what I'd be saying if it was the other way around.

Wales were inexplicably atrocious in the first half, and thats the only reason that England looked "good" for 40 minutes. There was never any way that Wales were going to play that badly again in the second half, but if England had held it together, we'd still have won - instead we fell apart. It was like watching the team training - you could see they had some ideas, and plans, but it seemed they had forgotten that there were opposing players to think about too. They just seemed confused by rugby. There were a couple of bright moments, but they were insignificant compared to the collapse. The frustrating thing is that they actually look like they can play, possibly quite well - so why don't they?!

Wales weren't much good really, but they thoroughly deserved the win, even with England hardly there they still had to win it. The only player who stood out for me was James Hook, who had a great game. I thought Henson was nondescript - apart from his appearance, which was worthy of a freak show.

France had the most convincing opening game, much to a lot of people's surprise. Ireland were a shower, Scotland were awful (although I think they'll improve, and some of their players are very cute, especially with the sexy kit they were wearing) and Italy were - well, Italy were Italy.

AndyB, what are the current odds on Wales to win the 6 Nations? Also, Wales to do the Triple Crown? And - dare I say it - the Grand Slam? I don't think they will do any of those things - but I didn't think they'd beat England at Twickenham either, and I reckon that would have been a bet worth having.

You can get 11/5 on Wales for the triple crown, 7/1 for the grand slam and 7/2 to win the 6 nations.
