Absolutely. That's exactly what I'd be saying if it was the other way around.
Wales were inexplicably atrocious in the first half, and thats the only reason that England looked "good" for 40 minutes. There was never any way that Wales were going to play that badly again in the second half, but if England had held it together, we'd still have won - instead we fell apart. It was like watching the team training - you could see they had some ideas, and plans, but it seemed they had forgotten that there were opposing players to think about too. They just seemed confused by rugby. There were a couple of bright moments, but they were insignificant compared to the collapse. The frustrating thing is that they actually look like they can play, possibly quite well - so why don't they?!
Wales weren't much good really, but they thoroughly deserved the win, even with England hardly there they still had to win it. The only player who stood out for me was James Hook, who had a great game. I thought Henson was nondescript - apart from his appearance, which was worthy of a freak show.
France had the most convincing opening game, much to a lot of people's surprise. Ireland were a shower, Scotland were awful (although I think they'll improve, and some of their players are very cute, especially with the sexy kit they were wearing) and Italy were - well, Italy were Italy.
AndyB, what are the current odds on Wales to win the 6 Nations? Also, Wales to do the Triple Crown? And - dare I say it - the Grand Slam? I don't think they will do any of those things - but I didn't think they'd beat England at Twickenham either, and I reckon that would have been a bet worth having.
