Actually I don't mind Duffy, I think she can sing - her music's not necessarily for me, but I do think she can sing.

Duffy definitely can sing. My problem with her is that all too often she doesn't. She's been too influenced by the proliferation of vocal tricks and fakery used by almost all female vocalists these days (like Munki said) and her real voice, which is pure and strong and flexible, is lost under the crap.

I'm chuffed Iron Maiden won that award. Not that there was a great deal of competition. Without doubt one of the best live acts in the world. Bruce Dickinson as the front man is unbeatable, stage show that put on is awe inspiring and they just keep getting better and better.

I still can't work out why Best Live Act was the award targetted for voting to the Radio2 audience. That seems - weird.

Most women worship Sarah Jessica Parker. I think she's one of those women that can look fabulous, but sometimes (often when she's got too much make up on) doesn't. Pink is a bit like that too, sometimes she looks beautiful, sometimes she looks like an ape. I get Kylie's appeal more than I get the SJP thing.
