I was about to ask if Tim Shaw is the fella whose girlfriend sold his car for pennies on Ebay because she was pissed off with being the butt of his on-air jokes, but I've just looked it up and apparently he is that same fella. This guy's not the first person to come on here proclaiming his genius.

Just one thing: 'OASternShawVirus' mentioned in his post in the 'Ask Aled' thread that this Tim Shaw fella seems to think Moyles copies from his act. However, Wikipedia (which isn't always right, granted) states "Tim Shaw ... claims to be ranked third in a list of the world's most controversial broadcasters of all time" - Moyles gave up the whole "shock jock" thing long ago. I think being controversial for the sake of being controversial gets very tired very quickly. I have to put my hands up and say I've never listened to Tim Shaw (I wonder if 'OASternShawVirus' has listened to Chris), but the impression I get is that he is being controversial for the sake of it.

I agree, Moyles used to do that in the afternoons for a while but then just became more natural & all the better for it IMO. Although hearing some of the older "controversial" shows are nice to listen back to, if only to hear his change in style (especially when he calls Lizzie a slut on the air, something of which he would never do these days)

To be honest, it's not actually that obvious even now. I think it's all quite confusing - both the irony in your posts and the original hypnotizing post.
