The angry, offensive without provocation, muddled-thinking and completely screwed up Viv who was here today isn't someone I miss, but she only gets like that when she's really stressed and wound up about things. Most of the time she was just bewilderingly and often amusingly weird, and that annoyed some people but on the whole she was provoking in a good way. If That Viv could leave the other Viv somewhere dark and remote then I wish she would come back. I know she loathes me but that isn't important, it all adds to the mix.

No, that's alway been my opinion of her. I'm not saying she wasn't exasperating a lot of the time, but at the end of the day there is no law against that. And while the unprovoked offensiveness was definitely a feature of her personality it wasn't all the time, and probably had more to do with her life outside than anything on the forum.

We all use this place to a greater or lesser extent as a place to express ourselves, and what we say and do in here is often reflective of our lives and circumstances. I got the feeling that was more true of Viv than of most people, which is possibly why what went on here seemed so much more important to her than it does to most of us.

It is ironic that she got banned from here for her behaviour towards (mostly) me, but I wasn't one of the people who complained or asked for that to happen at that time. In case anyone was wondering.
