Seriously? That record actually annoys me so much I have to leave the room when it comes on. Peggy Lee does not deserve that.

I prefer the extended version. More Peggy, less retard with a record player.

If I wanted to hear that record sound like it was jumping about it, I'd jump in a time machine and go back to when it first came out.

I have a very similar music taste to Nick Red and she's listed at least 3 of my favourite songs, so I'm gonna list a few of my 'less obvious' favourite songs -

'Here comes the Sun' - The Beatles
'Only Women Bleed' - Alice Cooper
'Wish You Were Here' - Pink Floyd
'Spiderwebs' - No Doubt
'Big Empty' - Stone Temple Pilots
'Stay' - Lisa Loeb
'One' - Metallica
'Love of my Life' - Queen
'Estranged' - Guns 'n Roses
'Babe I'm Gonna Leave You' - Led Zeppelin
'Paint it, Black' - The Rolling Stones
All of 'Appetite of Destruction' by Guns 'n Roses
All of 'the Black album' by Metallica
All of 'Hey Stoopid' by Alice Cooper
All of 'Big Calm' by Morcheeba

She did that live on Jools Holland's Hootenanny on New years Eve - I have never seen or heard such a brilliant live performer in my life EVER. As far as her records are concerned I can take them or leave them, but live she is absolutely riveting. Most singers with her vocal precision tend to be a bit sterile and mechanical sounding, but she doesn't, she has all the technique AND all of the performance you could ever want. I want to be her.

Yeh she is awesome live. Not a huge fan of Dizzy but i liked the Brits 'Dirty Love' song they did. Not sure whether to buy her album tho.

Yeah, sorry. I love funky stuff like that, take n old 40's song and phunk up the beat. I'll admit tis the easiest kind of music to create, that pretty much any spotty oik can produce in his bedroom, but still.

Please don't think less of me...!

Ahaha, I won't! I kinda like 40s/50s lounge-type-music in its original incarnation so I don't really like hearing it messed with. I like the Puppini Sisters and Burt Bacharach. Ooh and Richard Cheese, he's great. Quite similar to the Paul Anka stuff Moyles plays on occasion.
