Could be worse, could be the Americans running it. We have to wait a week between the episodes. Over there they love to have the two episodes span seasons, so you end up waiting months to see what happens next.

Haha, touché.

Bearing in mind what 'S4B' stands for, that is such a wrong thing to put.

Hang on i missed the start but wasn't there a trailer a couple of weeks ago where Donna was saying how good it must be for him to have Rose back and he (Tennant, David, not the bloke from the pet shop boys£ looks pensive and then grins and says yeah. That can't have happened at the start so he must come back and we'd have heard if he was leaving.

I can officially confirm that I have NOT been asked to play the next doctor. So there ends that rumour.

That bit happened near the start of this weeks episode.

The Doc was getting all wound up about stuff and Donna said, "yeah, but Rose is coming back, surely thats a good thing?" and Doc does the grinning thing and says "yeah".

1 . This week's episode was brilliant, and so was the "Confidential" that went with it.
2. Even I can tell that there is more to this supposed regeneration than meets the eye - there is no way we're getting a new Doctor. David Tennant leaving would have been all over the papers. Such things do not happen in total secrecy.
3. I can't wait until next Saturday...............

Spolier for next weeks episode:

David Tennant steps out of the shower and says to Donna "Did I miss much?"

I already suggested that to my friend, we are both hoping he has no towel! ;)

Christopher Eccleston leaving was never much of a secret. I don't remember much about the changing of the doctors in previous years, but I doubt it was secret any other time either. Well, except maybe the first time. So like you say, if we were getting a new doctor the papers would be all over it like a bad rash.

There wasnt the massive big pot of geeks all in one place back then though. I know they had hardcore fans etc, but the tinterweb will have made it a lot easier for the information and the theories to get spread.

Really? Don't you think he's a bit of a skinny weasel? I like him, but not in a naked way.

I am reliably informed that if you watch Casanova your opinion will change! I'm watching it tonight!

Casanova was great.

Doctor Who on Saturday was just amazing. So many questions needing answers! Was the mention of Mr Copper by Harriet Jones significant? Even though I was sorry to see her go, I did laugh at the Daleks saying "Yes, we know who you are" to her just before she got exterminated.

Mr Copper was the tour guide bloke from the most recent Christmas special.

As for the regeneration, that hand in a jar's got a role to play here I think, we'll either get multiple Doctors or Tennant will regenerate into himself.

The episode itself was great although a couple of things bugged me 1) Captain Jack and his "hooray I've got my teleport device working just as the daleks are entering Torchwood - bye bye Gwen and Ianto, the ineffective guns are over there!" 2) All those phone calls to the Doctor was a bit too similar to everyone thinking "Doctor" last year (aka the Tinkerbell effect).

Ah, well he certainly had enough money with him to develop the Subwave Network didn't he?

I did notice the distinct placement of the hand in the jar near the beginning of the episode. Do you think the fact that they're a second out of synch with the rest of the universe will also affect the regeneration in some way?

2 Doctors! Mad Dalek on the side of good not evil! Naked Doctor! Earth being dragged through space! Last but by no means least a CLEVER Catherine Tate!

Fabulous. Perfect. Loved every minute.

It was brilliant. Amazing. Fantastic. But Dalek Khan said "One will die" - was that a reference to the part-human doctor growing old and dying, or is it a thread for next season?

No, it was a reference to Donna. It's a bit of a cheat, but the part of Donna that was the Doctor's companion doesn't exist anymore.

Did he say "die"? I though he said "fall" which is kind of more accurate.

Oh and Foots - me too! ;)

That is a bit of a cheat. I don't care though.

How brilliant was Catherine Tate? She was outstanding in this episode.

I think the whole thing was very well written from start to finish.

Oh and I know it's from last weeks episode but the running gag of "Yes we know who you are" which even the Dalek's said had me in stiches..I DO love a running gag.

Clever Donna was great, they could have made more of Donna's influence on the "new" Doctor though I think.
