Best goal I ever saw at Goodison was in a pre-season friendly against Werder Bremen no idea which of their players it was but it was a cracking strike.

I know I might sound biased, but I've just thought of another one that beats it, and probably McCoist too.

Zinadine Zidane, Champions League final 2002. The best volley you're ever likely to see. The goal turned out to be the winner, and since it's in probably the biggest club competition in the world, I'd say that takes it for me.

And why biased? Cos it's another goal at Hampden. And it takes the award off a Rangers player.

As much as I dislike the player and hate the club, this is some strike too.

I preferred this one...

For all the moaning Chelsea fans did after this game, this was the ONLY time in 180 minutes of the tie they didn't boot Iniesta up in the air. Oops.

Quite possibly the second highest I've ever jumped while sitting in front of the telly. And only cos the first involved my own team.

The Zidane goal is astonishing brilliant, as is Trevor Sinclairs but neither of them were the winner in the most important Manchester derby for decades.

Wayne wins. :D 8)

Oh come on, the Manchester derby isn't even a proper derby. It's Manchester v Rest of the World as far as the fans are concerned!

St Mirren v Morton, now that's a derby. "Soap dodging bastards" is a frequent call from both sides towards the other.

They're both right too.

Colcheter v Ipswich is never pretty. Nor is Colchester v Southend, or Norwich, or Gillingham - actually, Colchester v just about anyone is pretty ugly. I do think its strange though that over the years one of our biggest "derby" type matches - in terms of long-term needle anyway - has been against Gillingham. I have no idea how they managed to upset us, or us them, but it must have happened because there is a LOT of bad feeling there.

dragging back to the mainstream : i'm nervous about the match tonight, barca haven't shown their usual arrogance - and have been very quiet in the media. unlike them when it comes to arsenal.

Probably that draw they got at the weekend. Will be a different game tonight - Arsenal are unlikely to put 11 men behind the ball for the whole game.

second leg will be a nervous one, barca will come out guns blazing : but the first goal will be absolutely crucial.

still see barca as massive favorites to win the second leg - but again, can only hope.

Barca looked like they played a training exercise in that second half. Got what they came for I think - the away goal. Still, I'd fancy Arsenal to score at the Camp Nou too.

Great game to watch. If only other teams played like that against Barca rather than the 11 men behind the ball.

Being that St. Mirren are from Paisley, does that make you a soap dodger Munki?

Very pleased with Arsenal's performance in that game, especially during the second half. We probably won't do that well in the second leg but at least we beat them once :)

I'm neither "from" Paisley nor to do I live there now.

I know it's my lot, but even I was standing in this thinking "wow". Not something you see in the UK much, and certainly not to this extent.

See ya in Champions League 2012/2013 season.
