hehehe... me too... fire is so pretty!!

Not really, the course isn't concentrated on just that specific workplace thankfully, it's an actual qualification that can be carried around all workpalces; so I just thought I'd go for it before I leave and have that extra thing to carry onto my next job which always looks good. I actually thought I wouldn't be allowed to go seeing as I'm leaving and EDF probably wouldn't want to send me on a course, that they're paying for, but they were fine with it; so I did it.

That's what I mean; pointless for them, not you.

Oh I see, I thought you meant me.

Yes, it was pointless but they're generally good at wasting money. But I gained, so I'm happy.

Me too!

I am a comic book fanatic of 20 years and always dread and look forward to film releases in equal measure. Iron man really surprised me, Robert Downey Jr was brilliant as Tony Stark!

Just saw Jumper on DVD, thought it was excellent!

Meh - Jumper was alright, if it wasn't for that Billy Elliot kid it wouldn't have been half as good though. That other guy, Darth vader is so wooden. Plus it makes very little sense really. Samuel L Jackson wasn't bad though....think I'll wait for the sequel for it to be explained really.

Iron Man 2 should be good as well.

I agree with Andy B. They didn't go into the back story enough for me, in Jumper. I didn't really care about the characters either.

Apologies for the double post, but making me laugh like a drain last night was Dr. Busker. I may have mentioned this last time he was in my local, but if anyone gets a chance to see him locally, you really should try and make it. As long as you're not easily offended.

It was OK, but I'd wait till it's been out for a while, you might get it for a fiver.

If it's in high definition does that mean that we can see all the blemishes and imperfections on it?

Spending lots of time with my boyfriend is making me smile, I'm enjoying having independence and time away from the shit at home. I don't really one to go back home, but I guess I have to.

I work for a bank. One of my customers calls in today, stressed and not seeing the funny side...

"I need a new credit card sent out to me quickly cos I put my purse in the microwave then went out. When I got home, I forgot I put it in there and switched the microwave on. I've melted my purse."

How the hell does that work? Why do you put your purse in the microwave in the first place? Then when you get home, why do you switch on said microwave without putting anything in it first??

Anyways - I laughed a lot. Poor woman.
